The Grace of God

By Andy Stanley

Published by Thomas Nelson

The Grace of God by Andy Stanley is a book that seeks to explain to people has in understanding of what grace is. The author also explains how God from the Old Testament is not any different from God in the New Testament, but what changes is our perception of God from the old to the new. The is showing us the Grace of our God in different stories from the bible.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it changed my prospective on life. The message is clear now to me is that grace is not fair, it is not deserved, and there is nothing we can do (or not do) to obtain grace (or lose it). Grace is a gift from our God…

The Treasure of God's Word

BY
JACK COUNTRYMAN

The Treasure of God’s Word by Jack Countryman is another gift book. It is an attractively hardcover book with a soft leathery feel. The pages have golden edge and the books general appearance is one of quality and value.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed in how little history there was to a book that is celebrating 400Th year of the King James Version of the Bible. I do appreciate the up lifting encouraging verses but I was expecting a lot more.

Your Money God's Way

by
Amie Steater
Your Money God's Way is written by Amie Streater, easy reading with a very interesting message to take care of God’s finances.

There are many good lessons in this book, namely that God doesn't make us broke (we do that ourselves through our decisions that lead us to major consequences). Anyone can get a good advice from this book. The message is clear God doesn't want us to be broke or poor he want us to trust in him and take care of the thing he has put us in charge of it.

Out Live Your Life

Out Live Your Life

by

Max Lucado

Out Live Your Life is one of the best books by Max Lucado. The book brings challenges to the fact that each of us is made to make a difference. In easy reading with a very strong message, challenging you to think what living a life as a Christian should look like and then we are asked to be realistic and describe what Christians do look like.

The book brings a lot of insights and revelations. The message is crystal clear, none of us can do it all but we can do something.

The Right To Lead

The Right to Lead

Learning Leadership Through Character and Courage

By John C. Maxwell

This is a great gift book for Father Day, graduation or anyone who is going into a leadership role.

The book is divided into 7 different sections: (1) Action, (2) Vision, (3) Sacrifice, (4) Risk, (5) Determination, (6) Service, and (7) Integrity – all areas that Maxwell believes make a good leader. Each section tells a story of a hero from the past and the present. However, some of the pages were pulled from other Maxwell books.

Over all it is a good little book to read…

THE VOICE OF PSALM - BOOK REVIEW

The voice of the Psalms comes from the Ecclesia Bible Society and published by Thomas Nelson. It is the book of Psalm presented in "THE VOICE" translation like a devotional book- is very will put together, an easy reading with a good format.
I enjoyed it very much. The book gives me another prospective of the psalms. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the layout of the Psalms and devotional readings. Written by Karen Moore and James F. Couch Jr.

At the end of the day is a good book to read!!
