FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: LOVE

Cultivating Spirit-Given Character
By Calvin Miller

The Fruit of the Spirit: Love by Calvin Miller, I wanted to review this book to learn more about the love of God and also to understand the true mining of Love. I found the book to be pretty basic about the teaching of the Love. Not a lot of scripture. Witch for me is essential if I want to learn the true meaning of love. I guess I expected more. Really not what I was expecting!

FASTING

The Ancient Practices
By Scot McKnight, Phyllis Tickle

I actually wanted to review this book to learn the correct way to fast. I learn to fast only for 40 day before Easter but it was only to give up something in order to try to understand why they are so many people go hungry in the world. But to my surprise the author of this book states that you should only fast during grievous time and that is not something that I wanted and need it to read. The book is very repetitious.

Really not what I was expecting!
